Fresh from supporting Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on their sell-out UK tour, Yashin make their Slade Rooms debut with support from Dear Superstar?

Hailing from Glasgow, Scottish Six Piece Yashin have steadily assembled an army of fans across the UK and Europe with their distinctive sound and ability to capture live crowds. Yashin may sound similar to many other bands in their post hardcore/ alternative genre. However, Yashin have many times been branded the best at what they do. American vocalist Harry Radford and Scottish born Kevin Miles front the band with soaring catchy vocal melodies and a vast range of screams. Yashin recently went out on their headline UK and Europe tour and soldout many of their shows including: Leeds, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Sunderland, Northampton, Stoke, Stockholm, Rome and Milan. Yashin completed 'Get Loose!' (their first music video) with Sitcom Soldiers and it went to Number One on Scuzz TV and featured on Kerrang, various other Music TV channels. The video is still popular on these music channels. 'Friends in High Places' music video was filmed at Yashin's 800 sellout show at the Garage in Glasgow. This music video is still currently in the Top Ten on Scuzz TV. Yashin saw out a successful year as they embark on another UK tour with American band Emarosa, the tour saw their audience grow and a huge surge of followers on Facebook and Twitter. Yashin's third music video will be released in February and this video has a more commercial edge. After the success with the previous singles, Yashin will be hoping to push this single to more mainstream mediums. The band have begun writing the follow up to "Put Your Hands" and hope to release their 2nd LP towards the end of the year. Yashin have performed live sessions on BBC Radio 1, XFM and also Kerrang Radio
Yashin have been selected by Daniel P Carter's BBC Radio 1 Rock show for Unsigned Song of the week
Yashin have graced the stage with many great bands (Lost Prophets, Enter Shikari, Gallows) and have been involved at some of the UK's greatest festivals (T in the Park, Taste of Chaos)
